An equal aluminium angle is a 90°-shaped angle profile with equal sides. These equally shaped pieces are often used in construction and manufacturing and are simple to weld, cut and shape – all able to be produced by LA Metals. They can be shaped into thin and smaller angles, as well as much thicker and larger shapes, making them extremely versatile and useful for a vast array of applications. 

Why is aluminium a great choice? 

Aluminium is a great choice for equal aluminium angles as it possesses high corrosion resistance properties, has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and can be utilised for a wide range of applications. Aluminium generates a natural protective coating which forms when the metal meets an oxidising environment. Aluminium equal-shaped angle profiles can also be treated with further protective layers through processes such as fabrication, polishing and applying a powder coating.
